What we collect

This website does not currently create user accounts, accept payments, or use advertising cookies. If you email us, we may collect your email address, name, the contents of your message, and any other information you choose to provide.

If you ask to join our interest list, we collect your email address and record the date and time of your consent, subscription status, and the source of the signup so we can send occasional development and studio updates.

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, maintain our interest list, send updates you requested, administer our business, secure our services, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers and overseas processing

Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, and interest-list records are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Email is handled by our email service provider, and Patreon handles information you provide through its platform under its own privacy policy. These providers may process technical or personal information outside Australia. Their handling of information is also governed by their respective policies.

Website technical data

Cloudflare may process technical data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser and device information, request details, security events, and approximate location. We do not currently use this site for behavioural advertising or personalised tracking.

Email choices

We only send marketing or development updates where you have asked to receive them or where otherwise permitted by law. You can unsubscribe at any time using the instructions in an email or by contacting us. We will action unsubscribe requests as required by law.

Access, correction and complaints

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, withdraw consent, unsubscribe, or raise a privacy concern by emailing interest@chromaticduststudios.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on some requests.

Retention and security
